Bend don’t break
This next fortnight is full with the winds of change.. its whispers, its howl & even its roar…
Chandra (Moon) reaches her fullest expression May 1st in the Swati Nakshatra ~ ruled by Vayu (God of the Wind) & represented by a blade of grass ~ the message is one of humility, flow & flexibility. Grass invites us to walk the Earth with humility & reverence for Nature’s Divine wisdom, for with each step grass bends low, cushions the blow & even invites us into its humble embrace.
However, as gentle as that may sound, the power to bend and not break amidst life’s many challenges takes incredible strength & courage. For, not only does grass bend, but when we eventually move on from it, it rises once again, preparing itself for the next encounter. The blade of grass survives simply because it does not resist change, pressure or storms. It moves with it ALL in perfect flow as an expression of love.
The invitation of this Full Moon is to do the same. In the sign of Libra ~ along with some other potent transits, this Full Moon brings a certain amount of emotional intensity & opportunities for expansion into life. Libra seeks balance but can go to extremes in search of it. Therefore, areas of our lives that feel out of balance at this time may be asking for bigger shifts in order to create it.
This Full Moon is preparing us for perhaps the most auspicious and potent New Moon coming up on May 16th, and its trining aspects are bringing Rahu & Jupiter’s energies with it.
What does that mean?… Rahu is intense desire, creativity, innovation & the power to manifest. Jupiter is expansion, grace, abundance & wisdom. The great guru of our solar system. Therefore, if we allow our arising desires to be informed by the soul’s innate wisdom, guided by Spirit & grounded in Nature with reverence & humility… our ability to manifest & create expands exponentially during this time.
At the same time Surya (Sun) is exalted in the sign of Aries and currently transiting Bharani Nakshatra ~ a potent energy for breakthroughs, new beginning & birthing the new from a deeply soulful place. What messages does your Soul have for you right now?
This month is all about finding balance with all our relations & yes… that includes the Earth we call home & the grass she offers us to lay upon. It’s about discovering the blessings right before or eyes & beneath our feet.. allowing ourselves to be present in the moment enough to realize that no matter how great the challenges we currently face, Spirit never gives us more than we are ready to handle. The challenges aren’t the problem.. the real question is can we bend low enough to find the great lessons our Soul came to learn in them? Can we be flexible enough in our minds to shift our perspective and turn challenge into opportunity? Can we let go of our attachment to the outcome of our desires & allow the path to unfold with wonder in each step we take?.. because right there is the sweet spot. Right there is the lesson of Swati & the magick of surrender to the flow.
Perhaps it’s time to walk a new path. Perhaps your path is merging with another. Perhaps it’s time to release your creativity into the wind & let it carry the seeds of creation wherever they need to be planted. Now is the time to act upon that desire, that intuition.. that nudge you keep getting to step outside your comfort zone & just try. You know where change is calling you forward.. only you can hear the whispers of your own soul ~ are you listening?
So get outside and connect with Nature for that is what you are & allow Spirit to speak to you. There is great magick in the air… let it fill the sails of your inspiration & the wind will carry you forward to the life you envision being true for you. The key is in allowing yourself to bend…
